Our 1st annual event will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019. The event starts at 8:00am. The event ends at 3:00pm.
Our numbers are not where we need them to be to be able to give a respectable contribution to the cancer research, so unfortunately we will be postponing the event to September 2020. We are going to do some restructuring and I certainly hope that you will choose to be a part of it again. We appreciated your support in our endeavor. We are confident that next year will be great.
Raising Breast Cancer Awareness & Breaking World Records
On September 13, 2014, over 3,150 boats with participants from 31 states, 2 Canadian Provinces, Thailand and Belgium converged on Fourth Lake in Inlet, NY to shatter the Guinness World Record for the largest raft of canoes, kayaks and guide boats.
It’s time to make the challenge. Let’s rise up, put our efforts together and bring this record to Cooperstown! Join Cooperstown, New York and the Clark Sports Center as we endeavor to break this record. This amazing, record breaking event will take place on our own Otsego Lake on September 21, 2019. Participants will bring canoes and kayaks together and form the biggest raft ever (in hopes of breaking the Guinness Book of World Records currently held by the Village of Inlet)!
Glimmerglass State Park will be the site for the raft, as well as a full day of fun, food, music and a plethora of activities. It is a day for friends, families and community to come together to SINK CANCER!!!!!!
